The Mackenzie Tax and Estate Team is composed of accounting and legal professionals whose expertise spans personal and business tax, succession, intergenerational wealth, disability and estate planning. Together they work with financial advisors to resolve the complex planning needs of Canadians.
Tim Brisibe leads the Mackenzie team of tax, legal and advanced wealth planning professionals who provide perspective and expertise to support advisors in addressing the complex planning needs of their clients.
Tim has spent his career in wealth management, specifically in estate/trust administration, high/ultra-high net worth planning, business and farm transition and continuity, cross border planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, tax strategies, legacy planning, philanthropy, trust and estate planning, and disability planning.
Tim has completed Levels I, II and III of the Canadian CPA In-Depth Tax Program and holds the Masters Financial Advisor–Philanthropy (MFA-P™), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA™) designations. He earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) from California Western School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation Law (LLM) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

Guerlane Noël, Assistant Vice-President, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments, is based in Montreal and primarily supports the Retail Distribution teams in Quebec.
Guerlane has extensive professional experience in taxation, acquired through roles in both the public and private sectors. She spent several years at Revenu Québec, where she specialized in tax litigation and managed complex objection files. She also worked at the Canada Revenue Agency, where she developed a strong expertise in tax administration. Her roles in the private sector helped refine her skills in tax compliance and strategic tax planning while advising clients across various industries.
Guerlane earned a Master’s in Taxation Law (LL. M. Fisc) from HEC Montréal. She also holds the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations. She is currently pursuing the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA™) designation, which is designed to deepen her expertise in advising family-owned businesses by integrating financial, legal, and relational dynamics to enhance their long-term sustainability and succession planning.
An active member of the Association de Planification Fiscale et Financière (APFF) and the Canadian Tax Foundation, Guerlane is also committed to knowledge transmission as a graduate level lecturer in taxation at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Alyssa Mitha, Director, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments, is based in Calgary and primarily supports the Retail Distribution teams in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Alyssa gained her expertise in estate and trust planning, as well as disability planning, while working among some of Canada’s largest financial institutions. She also worked in private practice as an estate planning and probate lawyer for several years. She assists advisors with any tax and estate planning issues and is a resource to the Retail Distribution teams in providing education and information regarding relevant tax and estate matters.
Committed to continuous learning and keen to keep up to date with evolving tax and estate rules, Alyssa maintains active licenses to both the Law Society of Ontario and the Law Society of Alberta. She is a recipient of the prestigious Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Calgary.
Kathleen Park, Director, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments, is based in Toronto and primarily supports the Retail Distribution teams in Western Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
Kathleen has extensive experience in taxation, particularly in US-Canada tax issues, having worked at global accounting firms and some of Canada's largest financial institutions. Her background in Canadian and US tax issues enables her to provide expert insight on advanced tax matters involving high net worth individuals, corporations, trusts and estates. She also assists advisors with any tax and estate planning issues and is a resource to the Retail Distribution teams in providing education and information regarding relevant tax and estate matters.
Kathleen holds the Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and US Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) designations, and has completed Levels I, II and III of the Canadian CPA In-Depth Tax Program.

Christina Yam, Director, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments, is based in Toronto and primarily supports the Retail Distribution teams in Eastern Ontario and Manitoba.
Christina has extensive experience in taxation, particularly in Canadian domestic tax, gained in public accounting. Her background in Canadian and international tax issues enables her to provide expert insight on advanced tax matters for a variety of clients, including domestic and foreign corporations, high net worth families, individuals and estates, as well as on tax matters such as corporate reorganizations, inbound taxation and estate planning. She also assists advisors with any tax and estate planning issues and is a resource to the Retail Distribution teams in providing education and information regarding relevant tax and estate matters.
Christina holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has completed Levels I, II and III of the Canadian CPA In-Depth Tax Program.

Flora Kampogo, Director, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investment, is based in Toronto and primarily supports the Retail Distribution teams in Eastern Ontario.
Flora has extensive experience in taxation, gained at investment management and large public accounting firms where she worked with a variety of clients, including investment fund managers and high-net-worth individuals. Her expertise spans investment fund taxation, private equity taxation, registered plans taxation, retirement and estate planning, as well as corporate, partnership and trust tax issues. She also assists advisors with any tax and estate planning issues and is a resource to the Retail Distribution teams in providing education and information regarding relevant tax and estate matters.
Flora holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations and has completed Levels I and II of the Canadian CPA In-Depth Tax Program.

Alexandra Nadeau, Manager, Tax and Estate Planning at Mackenzie Investments, is based in Montréal and supports the Retail Distribution teams across Canada.
Alexandra has extensive experience in taxation, gained at two of the major global public accounting firms and the Quebec CPA Order. Her expertise includes international tax obligations, voluntary disclosure projects, and U.S. regulatory updates.
Her background in Canadian, cross-border, and international tax issues enables her to provide expert insight on advanced tax matters involving high-net-worth individuals, corporations, trusts, and estates. She also assists advisors with tax and estate planning issues and serves as a resource to the Retail Distribution teams by providing education and information on relevant tax and estate matters.
Alexandra holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) candidate. She earned a BAA in Finance and a Master of Taxation (M. Fisc.) from the University of Sherbrooke.
