Greg Hourigan, Vice President and Head of Canadian Institutional, is responsible for institutional business development & consultant relationships in Canada. His career in the financial services industry started in 2010. Prior to joining Mackenzie Investments in January 2023, he served as Vice President in a number of different roles – including strategic relationships, retail and institutional sales – at a well-known global asset management firm.
Mr. Hourigan holds his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and earned an honors degree from the University of Guelph.

Simon Bedard, Vice President, Head of EMEA is responsible for developing institutional client relationships within the EMEA region and helping leverage Mackenzie Investment’s diverse investment capabilities. His industry experience started in 1992, when he joined Power Financial group of companies and has progressed through more senior roles across the organization, including Investors Group and Great West Life.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Manitoba's Asper School of Business. He has also served as Vice Chairman for the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
